7 years of uninterrupted operation: the story of an Arm-sorter that became more than a machine 🎂
Stories of reliability are not always loud. But they are the strongest.
One of our first Arm-sorters does not have the highest capacity in the range. It is not the fastest. Not the newest.
But it is the one that has never stopped.
In 7 years — not a single downtime.
It made it through the pandemic. Survived the full-scale invasion. Worked without days off when many others could not.
Without on-site service, without electricity in the country — but always on duty.
This sorter delivered more than just boxes.
It carried what mattered:
- toys for children in evacuation,
- humanitarian aid kits,
- parcels from home,
- equipment, documents,
- and even — hope.
💬 We do not call it simply “Arm-sorter”. For us, it is a symbol.
Reliability. Resilience. Loyalty.
Machines have stories too.
And this one is real.

🔍 Interesting facts about the Arm-sorter from KONSORT
- Has operated for more than 60,000 hours without a major overhaul
— That is as if it had worked 24 hours a day for more than 6 years. And it is still in service. - The average sorting time for one item is 2.8 seconds
— During a working day, it can sort more than 8,000 parcels. - The design is based on a reinforced frame, which gave it its name: Arm-sorter
— Thanks to this, it withstands intensive operation in logistics centers with increased workloads. - Withstands temperature fluctuations from -10°C to +40°C
— It has worked both in unheated hangars and in hot conditions — without losing accuracy. - It was the first KONSORT sorter to receive full individual adaptation for 3 types of containers at once: bags and boxes.
- Hand-assembled by KONSORT engineers back in 2017 — with some of the same technicians who today design systems for 9000+ parcels/hour.
- One of the Arm-sorters operated in a frontline area, sorting humanitarian aid and never stopped even during power outages — thanks to backup power.
💛 Happy Birthday, old friend. Many more seasons are still ahead.
