The shoe sorter, or as it is also called, the slat sorter, consists of a long straight conveyor, where dense rows of aluminum slats serve as a belt. “Shoes”, which are the main sorting mechanism, move along each of these bars. The sequential programmed movement of the shoes along the slats forms a guiding diagonal along which the parcel moves to its appropriate port of departure. Sorting productivity – up to 9,000 parcels/hour.

Working principle:
1. The parcel is scanned in automatic mode from five sides, the data about it is transferred to the operating system of the line.
2. The cargo moves further along the conveyor, where the diverting shoes, forming a diagonal, direct the parcel to the appropriate port. The number of ports is unlimited.
3. With the help of sensors and the control system, a queue is automatically formed, which makes traffic jams impossible after the cargo is merged.
